Carter attended GKTW with his family after undergoing many operations to fix his airway, which caused various medical concerns, including the inability to feed by mouth until age 4. Carter was born with the congenital birth disorders laryngomalacia and tracheamalacia. Carter was able to eat by mouth just before our trip, and he enjoyed visiting the ice cream shop, according to mom Angela. "We appreciated that everyone shared their tales and were so kind to us," the couple said. "We had a much-needed, stress-free break."
