"Being at GKTW was a much-needed fairytale; all the stress, anguish, and suffering that comes with raising a medically fragile special needs kid was removed," Dianna Schreiner says of her daughter, Gracie Pearl, who has myelomeningocele and has had 56 operations to date, including four brain procedures. "We were able to enjoy our child just being a youngster for that lovely week...and that was a precious gift." The kindness and love shown to her during our visit were incredible; the entire experience was a dream come true." Our prayers and best wishes go out to the Schreiner family, especially Gracie's father, who is fighting terminal illness.
