Xenia's family was distraught and afraid after multiple brain operations, ICU admissions, and uncommon complications before a visit to GKTW "reminded us that things could be good again," says Xenia's mother, Joy. "Nothing could have prepared us for the wonderful nature of our visit to the Village. It was immensely healing to leave our anxieties behind for a week and witness Xenia and her siblings enjoy joy again. We came hoping to spend quality time with our family on our first family vacation; we left with so much more that words can't express; more than anything, GKTW gave us hope."
